There are some screens in KEW that are still implemented using a non-KNS based development paradigm. Generally, these are administrative screens so it affects a very small portion of the user population. Functionally speaking, this results in inconsistency between these older-style screen and the KNS-based screens which are more pervasive throughout Kuali.

    • Technical Justification:
This will allow us to use a common framework on *all* of our screens in KEW and should effectively reduce code duplication.
    • Impact if not Implemented:
Continued need to maintain old code. Inconsistent user experience.

Note, it's my recommendation that this work wait until KRAD is completed. Also, there are only a handful of screens which suffer from this, they need to be cataloged and mentioned explicitly on this roadmap item.
