      Description

We've reviewed our style guide designs with Tom Clark and have agreed to update the Rice visual style to align with the KS visual style guide:

      https://wiki.kuali.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=307466113

Note that by default, most of the icons won't show up in KRAD Kitchen Sink (only messaging, and loading/progress indicators).

I'll be adding a default UIF icon set in the coming days, and plan to include the KS specific icons. I would like to render the icons via icon font sets:

          http://css-tricks.com/examples/IconFont/

The advantages are that they require low bandwidth, and easily resized, styled, colored, & themed via css.

Regarding the KS icons, does the original vector artwork exist somewhere? This will be needed to create the icon font version.

Also, icon font sets only allow for monochrome icons, and some of the KS icons use two colors (activity rule, audit, & warning are examples). Could the KS icons in questioned be recreated using only one color? If not, I will plan on including these as bitmap files (which can't be styled & scaled via css).

The icon set work is now being tracked under UXI-365.
