      Description

We have been using TimestampAMPMFormatter which is provided by rice in one of our KNS maint doc. Now we are trying to convert the doc to KRAD and can not find a propertyEditor that's equivalent to it. We are not able to add our own custom property editor due to the reason mentioned in KULRICE-12058 and KULRICE-9735. Please add an equivalent propertyEditor in rice. We are using rice 2.3.5 for the release we are working on.

I would also suggest a name more along the lines of TimestampAmPmFormatter (or editor or whatever) all those capital letters in the middle are ugly.

It's really strange that UifTimestampEditor cannot be used because of its design. The documentation says it will convert java.sql.Timestamp but that's not the case. I will check with Jerry to see why it was done this way.

We determined that KHR can use the available timestamp constraint in their application and also that the available timestamp property editor is sufficient for now. KHR reported that their Uif-DatePicker fields could not accept timestamps, but this is a restriction made by jQuery that can only be turned off as an option. As this is not a bug but more of a missing feature, KHR will work around the problem for now.
