      Description

Right now when you ingest a document via the UI there is no warning to remind you of whether you are in production or not. At IU we had an error where someone accidentally ingested a rule change when they thought they were in a test environment that forced a bunch of documents to be rerouted during the peak load of our Rice servers which caused a bit of a headache. After that we added an alert to the ingester screen when it loads and when you actually ingest a file to make sure that you intend to ingest it in production. That helped ensure that issue did not happen again.
