                  It's correct. No validation error is thrown because constraint is fulfilled by having a value in field 5A. The values in field 6A and 6B would also fulfill the constraint.

                  This is why I find it unclear http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exclusive_or section Exclusive "or" in English. Chatting with Claus about this, he pointed out that our audience here are Developers and in that case I see how the text is programmatically correct.

                  Just to make sure let's change the ORs to AND/ORs. Hopefully this will clear things up for everybody

                  More complexity: 5A AND/OR 5B AND/OR (6A AND 6B) is required by this field
