      Description

In Library - Containers - Collection Group, only 9 rows are displayed although 10 should be displayed. We are erroneously counting the add line in the number of displayed results.

The problem is that the add row is a line in the data table. This causes a number of problems. The first is that the table paging doesn't display the correct number of rows on the first page (because of the add row entry). The other problem is that the add line row does not display when the user goes to the second or third page of the solution.

I see two possible fixes to this. The first is to customize jquery dataTables. That is not recommended for obvious reasons. The second solution is to move the add line to the header of the jquery data table. I'm not sure whether that is possible.

          From Jerry:

We should check with UX (Christie) on this. Although the first page only displays 9 rows, the message is correct: Showing 1 to 9 of 36 entries. And, I am not sure they would want the add line to appear on each page.

I sent a note to Christie about this.

Tom and I took a look at this:

          1. Is it possible to pull the 'add' row out of the actual collection table? It could display above or below the table and would display on every page without seeming odd and the count per page would be 10 on each page.

If #1 isn't possible, then we recommend displaying the add line on every page so that someone wouldn't need to navigate to the first page in order to add a row to the collection.

          Christie,

Yes number 1 is possible. We have an option to do this now. The add line is in a separate group and can be in any layout.
