      Description

      Defaulting a radio button to a specific value does not work. for example, the following code does not default the selection to the default value of "E"

      <bean id="PropDev-PersonnelPage-WizardPage1-TypeSelection"
      		parent="PropDev-PersonnelPage-WizardPage1-TypeSelection-parentBean" />
      	<bean id="PropDev-PersonnelPage-WizardPage1-TypeSelection-parentBean"
      		abstract="true" parent="Uif-InputField" p:fieldLabel.renderColon="false"
      		p:propertyName="personType" p:label="Search for" p:defaultValue="E">
      		<property name="control">
      			<bean parent="Uif-VerticalRadioControl">
      				<property name="options">
      					<list>
      						<bean parent="Uif-KeyLabelPair" p:key="E" p:value="Employees"/>
      						<bean parent="Uif-KeyLabelPair" p:key="N" p:value="Non-employees" />
      					</list>
      				</property>
      			</bean>
      		</property>
      	</bean>

      when I checked radioGroup.ftl, I am not seeing a check for this but the checkbox has this and works, looks like this needs to be added to the radioGroup too. Is there something I am doing wrong otherwise?

        Hi Gayathri,
        As a test, I was able to alter the kitchen sink demo in the labs to use default value. I also created a lab and was able to set a default. Is there anymore information you can provide so I can reproduce the issue?

        Thanks,
        Tadas

        Thank you. The XML above is what were are using to set the default, is that right then? PErhaps there's something I am missing then.

        Tadas Paegle Sorry for not getting back earlier. We put a workaround in KC to fix this so are not investigating this atm. Please go ahead and Resolve as "Cannot Reproduce" Thank you
