      Description

KC was not seeing the lookup functionality work within an edit line dialog. They had nested group's in the dialog with depth 2. This is because the quickfinder only configures the dialog action parameters on the parent of the component it is configured on (input field). The fix for it would be to have the dialog group configure all quickfinders within it with it's action parameters instead of having the quickfinder do it.

After committing a fix, KC was still seeing edit line dialog with lookup not working (the edit line dialog does not show after page refresh from returning lookup result value). I re-created KC's dialog in Labs -> Lookups -> Lookup with Dialog under the link "Show KC Dialog", and it worked as expected. After looking into KC specific code with Rajeev Mancheril, it appears that KC is using their own custom method to build the action to return the result (in KRAD the method that builds the action to return the result is also responsible for adding the dialog id that the lookup is in to the action parameters for that action). I have communicated this to Rajeev and Brian, and Rajeev said that he will try to get the code from KC that builds the action to return the result and fix the issue in KC. I told him to let me know in case he needed help in correcting the issue in KC. As a result, I am closing the issue since this issue is fixed and KC is seeing a different issue specific to them.
