      Description

One of our customizations at Cornell was a small JSP that would serve up the workflow logs files. It would be nice to have this functionality in Rice. It could just be configured to look at a specific directory. Or maybe this could just be accomplished with symlinks if the log file name is consistent.

That sounds like it would be useful. Although I'm not sure how much it would help when running Rice in a clustered environment. I guess in that case you would just have to be sure you have direct http access to each machine in the cluster?

fyi - we just do this through apache, as we do with reports, e.g.
        https://test.kuali.org/kuali/stg/logs/

This can probably be handled better by just serving the file up directly via apache or tomcat. Given that we are defining our new environment at CU I don't foresee this being an ongoing concern.
