CustomValidator javascript functions that make use of javascript 'alert' either pop twice or loop indefinitely depending on browser used. We have implemented customValidator javascript functions to perform cross field date editing that require specific messages to be presented to the user. To enforce that alerts work properly, code in edoclite1.js was changed to affect customValidator functions only. customValidator functions only are registered for onChange only rather than onChange and onblur.
