      Description

From Claus Nieson, one of our KC IRB Developers: "A while ago you were asking for the log files for when KC does not start up successfully. I regularly experience two situations that are always the same but can't be recreated on demand or predicted. To get around this I just stop and restart KC until it's successful.

      1) 100% CPU usage at DD Validation. Normally the DD Validation uses quite a bit of CPU but never above 90%. When I get this problem the startup stays at the DD validation and does not continue on. However the javaw.exe is using up all the CPU time it can get.

      2) Null Pointer Exception. Not much to add besides that KC does not run.

I haven't had these problems occur since the RICE update.

This has been resolved with KC's upgrade to the Rice 1.1 branch. Our developers our very grateful, thanks!
