Document Configuration screen Show/Hide buttons not working correctly

    Details

    • Rice Module:
      KNS

      Description

When you first link to a Document Configuration screen from the Route Log the Documenbt Information, Permissions and Workflow/Responsibilities tabs are all open (i.e. Showing information). After Hiding the tab information none of the Show/Hide buttons function normally.

Jonathan recently committed a fix to the core.js file, so the show/hide buttons should be working properly again. I noticed that practically all of the Rice show/hide buttons were broken until the latest fix was made, not just for the document configuration screen.

However, I've noticed at least two other possible problems with the doc config screen. First, when Javascript is disabled and one of the tabs is opened/closed, the data for the "permissions" tab is lost. Hopefully, I should be able to fix this problem by adding an appropriate hidden <input> value. I haven't noticed this problem with the workflow/responsibilities tab yet, but I may need to examine more documents with this form just to be sure. The second odd detail is that the topmost tab is actually a kul:tabTop that encapsulates all the other tabs, meaning collapsing this tab collapses all the data. Is this functionality intentional?

I've fixed the page-refreshing problems that used to occur on the document configuration page when showing/hiding tabs with Javascript disabled. However, when I was testing the hyperlinks on the permissions tab to ensure that the links were not broken, I stumbled across a problem with the show/hide tab buttons on the identityManagementRoleInquiry.do page. I will create and link a new issue for this shortly.
