I believe I know what the problem is. Here's the URL I get sent to when opening the doc search on my local Rice copy:

          http://localhost:8080/kr-dev/portal.do?channelTitle=Document%20Search&channelUrl=http://localhost:8080/kr-dev/kew/DocumentSearch.do?docFormKey=88888888&returnLocation=http://localhost:8080/kr-dev/portal.do&hideReturnLink=true

And here's the URL I get sent to when opening it in the kr-cnv copy:

          https://test.kuali.org/kr-cnv/portal.do?channelTitle=Document%20Search&channelUrl=https://test.kuali.org/kr-cnv/en/DocumentSearch.do?docFormKey=88888888&returnLocation=https://test.kuali.org/kr-cnv/portal.do&hideReturnLink=true

Note that kr-cnv's link is trying to access the DocumentSearch.do page from the "en" module, rather than from the "kew" module like in my local copy's link. My guess is that kr-cnv's sample-app-config.xml file has its "workflow.url" config parameter set so that it references the old "en" module, so changing that property should fix the problem.

I've corrected several Rice config files that used to reference the "en" module for the "workflow.url" parameter, and the kr-cnv and kr-stg environments should become fixed on their next restart/refresh. Anyone with a local sample-app-config file might need to modify the file's "workflow.url" parameter so that it references the "kew" module instead of the "en" module. The people at Innovativ may need to perform this change as well.
