      Description

Currently the 'return selected' button is located in the search criteria section of the multivalue lookup screen. This button should be moved to the search results section. There should be 1 button above and 1 below the search results, next to the 'select all' and 'unselect all' buttons. See linked issue for screenshots.

        Hi Geoff:

Could you please give me permission to view KRACOEUS-793, or provide some screen shots about the return selected buttons, so that I can precisely re-produce this scenario.

So far in the lookup results, I have seen copy/edit/delete options in the actions column, haven't seen any buttons like "select xxxx", any quick link in Rice to show this?

It looks like a configuration thing, or at JSP/tag level change, should not be tough once I find out where it is.

        Thank you!

        Ge

        Ge,

I've added you as a watcher on KRACOEUS-793.

You'll need to make sure you're doing a multi-value lookup to see the return selected buttons. I don't know of any in Rice, but you can see an example in Kuali Coeus on the Proposal Development Document in the Keywords panel. Do you have KC checked out in your workspace?

        Thanks, geoff

        Hi Geoff:

It looks that multivalue lookup has not been enabled in rice standard alone server, so I will install KC following the instructions in the link https://test.kuali.org/confluence/x/VQAB, please let me know if you think there is anything else need to cover.

It will be nice to play with KC, since our school is going to use it later, and other kr-for-kc work will have a good place to reference and test .

        Thanks

        Ge

Actually, it is very easy to fix this issue, just move the return_selected button from KualiMultipleValueLookup.jsp to the tag displayMultiValueLoookupResults..tag

But installing KC on mac book pro gave me some troubles yesterday, I will try to make it today.

should have checked in code changes earlier:

        /rice-release-1-0-kc-br/web/src/main/webapp/kr/WEB-INF/jsp/KualiMultipleValueLookup.jsp
        /rice-release-1-0-kc-br/web/src/main/webapp/WEB-INF/tags/kr/displayMultipleValueLookupResults.tag

Please have a try and let me know if there is any problem.

        Thanks

From KC team's feedback, KRACOEUS-793 is fixed based on current fix of this issue, so we can close this one.
