      Description

Required for WCAG 2.0, Level AA (should have), Navigation criteria 2.4.7 – Any keyboard operable UI has mode of operation where keyboard focus indicator is visible

See Maintenance (Edit) areas in KNS L&F section in portal.do:
      1. Missing: When using keyboard to navigate between selectable elements, there is no visual indication of focus when the focus moves to inquiry and lookup icons, or on expand/collapse symbols, or to checkboxes and radio buttons.

      2. Inadequate: Visual indication of focus that is present is barely perceivable. For example, go to Travel Account Maintenance (edit), expand the account information section, tab to the first stop, which is the "a14" in the column for old travel account number. That shows the dotted-line lasso around the "a14". This is the standard visual indication of focus across KRAD. Is insufficient - need to create a different default treatment for focus indication that is perceivable.

      3. Incorrect: (this one may have been caused by a different bug that was fixed - check if this is still a problem) In that same subsection, after collapsing/expanding, notice how all the fields in the "new" column for field entry look like they are selected/have the focus (they are all highlighted - reverse-video, blue background/white text). None of these fields have the focus so why are they being shown like this? (And this is a more perceivable visual treatment than the small dotted line lasso treatment.) This is odd and not standard. Also, the field loses the treatment when the user tabs out of the field (rather than into the field). Recommend eliminating this treatment and standardizing on a better standard treatment for focus indication.

          Tom,

Can you go through these items (and other focus) and address them in the CSS? if you need anything coding wise, just let us know.
