I've got an idea of what may be happening. There are 5 threads in the pool and there are several (more the 5) docs stuck in R (deadlock?). If each thread is tied up on a deadlocked record - well that's all folks. A simple restart as a fix would backup this theory.

I would verify this by selecting each doc type but i removed the column identifying the doc id from the route queue table because it was far too useful .

Anyway, I think more logging and diagnostics is the answer for this at the moment as it's the 2nd time it's happened that I know about so that means we have a real problem, but we still don't know what that problem is. I can start on this first thing tomorrow.

      Thanks,
      Ryan

This sounds similar to the issue where the docs weren¹t getting picked up by
the service bus for processing by workflow when in asynchronous mode. I can
take take a look at it tomorrow.

      Thanks,
      Eric

Do we know if this is happening for local devs too? Do we know if this is happening on the 0.9 br? Can we even test that?

Laura and Jeff, I added this specific issue to keep track of the routing problems that we are seeing.
