      Description

On Kitchen Sink > UI Components > Field: Date 1 (or Date 2), I can't get the focus from the input to the date picker widget, so I can't pick a new date.

          I spoke too soon.

Candace says that even when date pickers can be accessed via keyboards, users will prefer to enter the date directly into field as it's fewer keystrokes.

The best date pickers enable users to type the date into the field, in addition to enabling users to pick the date from calendar view. Ours does enable typing into the field so it is considered accessible. Many special needs users (no vision, mobility impaired) actually prefer to type in the date (fewer keystrokes) than to pick, when the calendar view can be accessed by keyboard.

We should ultimately enable the datepicker to be keyboard accessible, but this is not a blocker for 2.0 accessibility

reopening to set fix version to something other than 1.x-backlog.
