      Description

On a progressive disclosure, the component has an animation of a yellow highlight that fades to white. If this component is in an area with a background color other then white, the progressive disclosure component leaves a white background div over the original background color. The progressive disclosure component needs to be transparent after the animation.

          Brian,

Is this something that would be a quick fix?

Unfortunately no, base jQuery doesnt allow a fade to transparent. A fix would either require using an additional plugin (forget which one, looked into this awhile back) or us to know what background color the component is being placed on.

Ok, thanks. We'll need to bump this to m3 then. Garett, is that ok or is this critical for the MyPlan release?

We looked at it today and figured out a workaround for MyPlan for now. I just added the div id to the css and gave it a background transparent with the important rule so that the highlight just does not appear. So this is not critical for our release, but we think its something that should be looked at being fixed. Kamal and I were talking and maybe giving an option in the xml config to not highlight on the progressive disclosure might be a simple solution.

          Brian,

Let's investigate if this can be solved by other plugins. If so, please let me know the effort involved.

          thanks,
