      Description

      To reproduce -

      • login to rice as admin
      • go to the rule lookup and do a search
      • copy a rule
      • remove the description and save the document
      • go do document search
      • do a super user search for the document you just saved and open it
      • super user complete the document (It doesn't error, but it should since desc is required.)

Do the same thing again but this time when you open the document as a superuser, make sure to update the description before you super user complete the document. Go look at the new rule that was created and note that the description is still blank.

I'm going to close this as a non issue because after additional testing, I think this is intended behavior. Typically superusers do not have the ability to modify the document in the super user screen. i.e., if the rule is saved by dev1 without a description and then the admin user opens the doc as a superuser, admin does not have permission to edit the description. However, I can see business cases where super users would still want to complete the document even if the field originally wouldn't have passed validation. I originally thought this might problem because I was creating and trying to super user complete the document as admin, so the document fields were editable.

If this actually IS an issue just let me know and I can re-open.

            Thanks,
            Shannon
