      Description

Recently we discovered that our project had some missing / outdated KEW documents. We had to add the missing KEW files to our KC release in order to fix bugs related to the missing KEW. Since Rice used to provide KEW as SQL earlier, we think the KEW that was provided in the form of XML files to be ingested during the later releases were left out. We were wondering if it would be possible for Rice to provide one central repository for all of its KEW so that we could just provide that to our implementors when they run bundled rice. I will add this to the KTI agenda but wanted to create a jira for it first.

Thanks Kristina, I looked at the folder quickly and noticed that the KEW for the previous releases in missing. Is there a place where I can find those? I was hoping that rice could provide us / implementers a way to access all of the rice KEW files that are required to get Rice working completely. Earlier on these were provided in the form of SQL but then the process changed and KEW documents were provided. My understanding is that Martin was working on a way to export this data. Is that there somewhere and I just missed it?

The folders are nested, so some of the documents are in places like KualiDocument/RiceDocument/AgendaEditorMaintenanceDocument.xml.

Checked with Kristina and the recent work she did in 2.4 for xml ingestion addresses this. Assigning to Gayathri to comment on follow-up.

Hi Jessica, the works looks good, thanks! We would like to get our implementers to use this in 6.0 and for that would need some kind of documentation that they can look at. Is it possible to get something documentation for this? I can create a separate jira for that and close this or leave this open. Please let me know what you prefer.
