      Description

      Setting the attribute definition's forceUpperCase doesn't work.
      Also, there's no server-side validation being applied to ensure the data is uppercase.

      I'll link to the previous Jira filed and closed for this issue, but that Jira was depending on CSS transforms to force upper case, which means we'd have to trust the data being entered by the client... that's probably not a good thing to depend on.

          For 2.3 we reworked this so the client actually uppercases the value and doesn't just change the display. The related issue is KULRICE-8804. It is a good question whether we should also check this on binding server side, probably a good thing to have in place. I'll reopen the other Jira and link the two.
