      Description

Using the Person object for the kim user control can be a little bit of overkill for some screens. Often, all that is needed is principalName, principalId, and the person's composite name.

Could an option be added for some sort of a lookup using EntityNamePrincipalName? This would cut the number of db tables accessed to the Principal table and the EntityName table.
