 Description

We are facing issue while clicking Submit Report button from incident report screen. While clicking this button, it has to send a mail to the mailing list. But now it is taking toAddress and fromAddress from configuration file.

<param name="ole.fs.email">salabacky@gmail.com</param>
<param name="KualiExceptionIncidentServiceImpl.REPORT_MAIL_LIST">$

{ole.fs.email}

</param>

But while sending mail we are getting following exception

java.lang.RuntimeException: org.springframework.mail.MailSendException: Failed messages: com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPSendFailedException: 554 Message rejected: Email address is not verified

The error described is that the external mailer is configured not to accept mail with the from address specified. Many mail systems are configured not to except mail presenting foreign domains in from addresses.

The from address for the incident report is set in the configuration (ex: <param name="kr.incident.mailing.list">admin@kuali.org</param> ) else it will use the logged in user's email from krim_entity_email_t.

If i want to use the foreign domain address something like prem@iu.edu to send email, how it can be addressed?

Comment by Sheik Salahudeen [ 28/Feb/14 ]

We have given the fromAddress is sheiksalahudeen.m@kuali.org and toAddress is salabacky@gmail.com. By using this, the application is able to send the mail once push the submit report button.
But the content of the mail has empty values for the various parameters,i suspect it needs to have the appropriate values in it, i have pasted below the content of the mail how does it looks like
