 Description

The optional attribute on db-ojb dependencies and the lack of direct dependencies on cglib-nodep are preventing several modules of Rice from compiling with Java 8

Chris found a simpler way to address the compilation issue at least with 2.5. Need to verify compilation under Java 8 of 2.1 and intermediate versions.
