  • Create or modify a role so it has
    • a member
    • with a delegate
  • submit the role
  • inactivate the member and submit the role
  • add a new member and submit
-> Notice the error "Delegation Member should be associated with a Role Member"

Workaround to manually enter an "Active To Dt" for the delegate doesn't persist on the role. Try opening the role again.

Created pull request - https://github.com/kuali/rice/pull/133

For this JIRA, I had to adjust the changes that were made for KULRICE-12124- Submitting a Person document causes a stack trace even though the document goes final. Since I changed the fix for that JIRA, I was testing the person document and found an additional issue. Due to the fact that the new issue was with the person document and it was also a problem before making any changes for this JIRA, I created a new JIRA. The new jira is KULRICE-14243 - Person Doc - not able to edit person with existing delegate.
